Description

You will lead IT initiatives for Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Warehouse Control Systems (WCS), managing end-to-end delivery of automation, conveyor, and sorting projects.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead full project lifecycle for WMCS implementations, including scope, budget, and timeline management.
• Coordinate between IT, operations, vendors, and leadership using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methods.
• Create and maintain project charters, SOPs, test plans, and user guides.
• Conduct gap analysis and system evaluations to improve warehouse efficiency and accuracy.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of IT project management experience.
• 2+ years in warehouse, logistics, or distribution environments.
• Hands-on experience with WMS/WCS platforms (Manhattan, Blue Yonder, SAP EWM, Körber, Honeywell, or Dematic).
• Proficiency with project management tools: Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or Smartsheet.
• Strong background in project lifecycle management.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

• PMP or CAPM certification.
• Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
