Description

Lead IT projects and initiatives from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage project budgets, schedules, scope, deliverables, risks, and tasks using established project controls.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams, including internal staff and third-party vendors, to deliver technical projects.
• Develop project charters, feasibility studies, and business cases for IT Steering Committees.
• Coordinate technical activities with Architects, System Analysts, and QA/Testing teams to ensure secure delivery.
• Drive PMO maturation by developing lifecycle templates and participating in lessons learned sessions.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager.
• 10+ years of total work experience in Information Technology.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI.
• Strong understanding of the System and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Proven experience managing infrastructure, cybersecurity, and network projects.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams within Utility Industry departments such as Customer Service, Finance, or Operations.
• Proficiency with MS Project, SharePoint, JIRA, Visio, and MS Office.
• Expertise in PMI-based project management methodologies and risk mitigation.
