Description

You will support the Procurement and Finance teams by managing the business and compliance aspects of IT goods and services procurement.

Responsibilities

• Process payments within prompt pay guidelines and reconcile vendor issues.
• Track and produce analytical reports to measure productivity across various areas.
• Liaise with the finance section to tie payments in process to division expenditures and budgets.
• Manage administrative and technical functions, including invoice processing and responding to procurement inquiries.
• Review technology contracts, license agreements, and maintenance agreements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in procurement or related fiscal roles.
• Knowledge of IT procurement principles and practices.
• Understanding of accounting principles.
• Experience applying state and VITA procurement laws, regulations, and practices.
• Proficiency in Excel for data analysis.
• Proficiency in MS Word.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
• Strong analytical skills for tracking expenditures.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external customers.

Preferred Skills

• Experience or understanding of eVA and Cardinal systems.
