Description

Lead software quality assurance and testing efforts for complex integrated projects in Buffalo, NY.

Responsibilities

• Create and present comprehensive test plans and strategies to business stakeholders and vendors.
• Develop detailed test cases from requirement documents and workflows to ensure full coverage.
• Facilitate defect management, triage, and prioritization meetings to drive issue resolution.
• Monitor quality standards and track metrics such as defect density and open defect counts.
• Oversee team members responsible for testing and provide guidance to project leadership.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience managing and leading software QA and testing on complex integrated projects.
• Experience working directly with vendors, developers, and business partners.
• Proven ability to identify risk and implement mitigation strategies.
• Strong presentation skills for large corporate settings.
• Experience with QAing workflows and requirement documentation.
• Bachelor’s Degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in an outpatient, hospital, or Comprehensive Cancer Center setting.
• Experience working on EMR or Revenue Cycle projects.
• Experience with Athena IDX, Allscripts, or EMR systems.
