Description

You will work within the MiSOC Security Operations Team focusing on network security and system administration.

Responsibilities

• Review and remediate cyber incidents and vulnerabilities identified by IT level analysts.
• Validate security procedures to ensure effective identification and classification of cyber events.
• Investigate and resolve security operations tool issues.
• Manage the implementation and specifications of security hardware and software, including corrective actions.
• Administer proxy servers, information systems, endpoint detection and response (EDR) servers, and agents.
• Manage intrusion protection and intrusion detection systems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in IT Security.
• Proficiency with Linux, Windows, and Unix environments.
• Experience with enterprise packet capture tools.
• Experience configuring, deploying, and architecting security network tools and security hardware.
• Experience with the configuration and administration of network taps.
• Ability to engineer rules using industry best practices.
• Experience with threat intelligence feed integrations.
• Hands-on experience with Network Tools and Security Hw.

Education

• Any Graduate degree.
