Description

You will monitor security alerts, investigate incidents, and maintain security controls to protect the organization's infrastructure.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts, logs, and events using SIEM and monitoring tools.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents, threats, and vulnerabilities.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and support remediation activities.
• Manage user access controls and identity management processes.
• Support endpoint, network, cloud, and application security initiatives.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in information security or cybersecurity.
• Strong knowledge of network security, operating systems, and security principles.
• Experience with SIEM, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Familiarity with firewalls, endpoint protection, and IDS/IPS.
• Understanding of identity and access management (IAM).
• Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

Preferred Skills

• Professional certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CySA+, CEH, GSEC, SSCP, or CISSP.
• Scripting skills in Python or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements like GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, or SOX.
