Description

You will manage security implementations and incident response across network and system layers in Omaha, NE.

Responsibilities

• Implement security measures for TCP/IP, Web, Linux, and Windows environments.
• Deploy and manage SIEM solutions using LogRhythm.
• Review firewall raw log files from servers, IDS, and databases using regular expressions and pattern matching.
• Execute escalation procedures to mitigate potential threats and vulnerabilities.
• Support SOC1, SOC2, NIST, JACSO, and HIPAA auditing and compliance standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in IT security.
• Proficiency in TCP/IP and Web security protocols.
• Hands-on experience securing Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Direct experience with LogRhythm SIEM.
• Ability to perform log analysis using regular expressions and pattern matching.
• Knowledge of SOC1, SOC2, NIST, JACSO, and HIPAA compliance frameworks.
• Participate in on-call rotations and security operations center duties.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing automated application and network security testing and scanning processes.
