Description

You will manage information security, risk management, and compliance protocols.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess security risks through regular analysis and problem-solving.
• Conduct security audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability assessments.
• Monitor security technologies including encryption, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and SIEMs.
• Communicate complex technical information to non-technical audiences in clear English.
• Track and stay current with emerging security threats, technologies, and industry regulations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or assurance.
• Direct experience with NIST and HIPAA frameworks.
• Working knowledge of encryption, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM tools.
• Proven ability to perform risk and vulnerability assessments.
• Strong analytical skills for threat identification.
• Proficiency in English for technical reporting and communication.
