Description

You will manage information security principles, monitor IT environments for compliance, and execute vulnerability and incident management protocols.

Monitor IT environments to ensure compliance with information security architecture policies and standards.

Provide security direction for future designs, capabilities, and strategic technology alternatives.

Manage identity and access management (IAM), IT risk, business continuity, and disaster recovery planning.

Collaborate with management and external service providers to communicate and disseminate security information.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in information security roles.
• Practical experience with identity and access management (IAM) and IT risk management.
• Experience with security vulnerability management and security incident management.
• Knowledge of business continuity and IT disaster recovery planning.
• Familiarity with NIST SP 800-53 or Commonwealth of Virginia Information Security Standards.
• Technical experience in at least two areas: Cloud, AI/ML, IAM, Vulnerability Management, firewalls, computer forensics, databases, or web/mail services.
• Ability to interpret laws and policies and translate complex technical terms for non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and external consultants.

Preferred Skills

• Technical proficiency in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
