Description

Design and implement security architectures while serving as a risk management expert to prioritize and assess risk drivers.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity initiatives and projects to drive strategic direction and implement tactical solutions.
• Perform risk identification and control evaluation using questionnaire-based methodologies and sampling.
• Evaluate audit responses to changes in risk ratings and substantiate technology controls.
• Apply compliance practices including risk assessment, monitoring, surveillance, and testing activities.
• Contribute to the Secure Application Development Lifecycle (SADLC) and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity job functions.
• Deep knowledge of NIST SP800-53 Rev 4 & 5.
• Experience with HIPAA, FERPA, and the Privacy Act of 1974.
• Expertise in CJIS Security Policy Version 5.9.
• Hands-on understanding of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models.
• Technical knowledge of Docker, containerization, and virtualization.
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux server functionalities.
• Understanding of SSO/Reverse Proxies, encryption, and cryptography.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery and business continuity processes.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in cybersecurity or a related field.
• Cybersecurity certifications.
• Experience with Criminal Justice Information systems.
