Description

You will own the creation and maintenance of System Security Plans (SSPs) for enterprise applications and supplier systems. Your work ensures strict adherence to COV SEC530 and NIST 800-53 standards.

Responsibilities

• Create comprehensive System Security Plans by gathering and analyzing requirements from business units.
• Conduct interviews with key stakeholders to define system components, operations, and security needs.
• Evaluate security control responses to identify gaps and define remediation requirements.
• Develop detailed documentation for security measures, risk assessments, and system vulnerabilities.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of senior-level IT Security experience.
• 5+ years of experience writing System Security Plans and conducting security assessments.
• 4+ years of in-depth knowledge of NIST 800-53 and COV SEC530 compliance.
• Expertise in security architecture design and implementation.
• Strong understanding of risk management and security control frameworks.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.

Preferred Skills

• Former Federal assessor experience.
