Description

You will design and document security frameworks to ensure system compliance and risk mitigation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business units to gather information and create comprehensive System Security Plans (SSPs).
• Conduct stakeholder interviews to define system components, operations, and security requirements.
• Evaluate security control responses to identify gaps and necessary remediation steps.
• Ensure all systems comply with COV SEC530 and NIST 800-53 standards.
• Provide guidance on risk mitigation strategies and recommend security improvements.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in IT Security.
• Proven experience writing System Security Plans (SSPs) and conducting security assessments.
• In-depth knowledge of NIST 800-53 and COV SEC530 frameworks.
• Strong understanding of risk management and security controls.
• Experience managing system vulnerabilities and compliance processes.
• Ability to produce detailed technical documentation.
• Experience ensuring enterprise applications and supplier systems meet regulatory requirements.
