Description

You will manage and implement security control systems to ensure compliance with cybersecurity best practices and regulatory requirements. You will own vulnerability management and security incidents within the Americas region, collaborating with the Head Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and control Managed Service Provider (MSP) activities related to IT Security Operations tasks.
• Design, develop, and test the security of LAN/WAN networks, firewalls, and Azure networking.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including installation guides, configuration guides, and systems hardening procedures.
• Implement and maintain mitigation and response plans for cloud, network, and system cybersecurity control systems.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in IT security, specifically within the banking sector.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto and Fortigate firewalls.
• Proven experience managing security within Azure environments.
• Expertise in security patch management and vulnerability remediation.
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and SIEM.
• Knowledge of security frameworks including NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Critical Security Controls.
• Experience executing 1 to 2 recent security projects within a banking environment.
• Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Skills

• Technical proficiency in CISSP, GIAC, CISA, SANS GCFA, GCED, or GMON.
