Description

You will manage security control systems, vulnerability management, and incident response for the Americas region.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and control Managed Service Provider (MSP) activities related to IT Security Operations.
• Design, develop, and test security for LAN/WAN networks, firewalls, and Azure networking.
• Implement and maintain mitigation and response plans for cloud, network, and system cybersecurity controls.
• Develop technical documentation, including installation guides, configuration guides, and systems hardening procedures.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in IT security, specifically within the banking sector.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto and Fortigate firewalls.
• Proven experience managing security within Azure environments.
• Expertise in security patch management and vulnerability remediation.
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and SIEM.
• Knowledge of security frameworks including NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Critical Security Controls.
• Experience executing 1 to 2 recent security projects within a banking environment.

Preferred Skills

• Technical proficiency in CISSP, GIAC, CISA, SANS GCFA, GCED, or GMON.
