Description

You will support the Cyber Development and Testing team in the end-to-end development of security use cases. You will own the lifecycle from query creation to testing and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Create efficient correlation search queries for security use cases, reports, and dashboards.
• Design, implement, and execute testing procedures for new and existing security alerts.
• Analyze security logs and use case requirements to identify data patterns for decision-making.
• Document the development and testing of security use cases with precision and detail.
• Assist the US Cyber Threat Detection Lead with migration to cloud environments.

Required Skills

• 3-4 years of experience in information security.
• Developer-level proficiency in Splunk.
• Intermediate AWS experience.
• Security log analysis.
• Experience with agile platforms like JIRA.
• Ability to communicate project status and deliverables across different teams.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with AWS CloudTrail and GuardDuty.
