Description

You will lead vulnerability management operations for infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments, serving as the technical escalation point for global security leadership.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end vulnerability management processes, including scanning, validation, risk-based prioritization, and remediation tracking across Linux, Windows, and cloud assets.
• Design and optimize scanning strategies, tuning policies to maximize coverage and minimize false positives while maintaining accurate asset inventories.
• Translate vulnerability data into actionable risk intelligence by leveraging exploitability, threat intelligence, and asset criticality rather than relying solely on CVSS scores.
• Partner with IT, infrastructure, and application teams to drive remediation efforts, manage exceptions, and ensure audit readiness through clear reporting and runbooks.
• Mentor vulnerability analysts and support penetration testing activities, validating remediation effectiveness and integrating lessons learned from zero-day threats.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of experience in cybersecurity with a strong focus on vulnerability management and security operations.
• Hands-on expertise with Qualys VMDR and Tenable.io for vulnerability scanning and management.
• Strong scripting capabilities in Python, PowerShell, and Bash for automation and API integration.
• Deep understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems and their specific security configurations.
• Experience managing REST API integrations for security tooling and data ingestion.
• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and act as a subject matter expert in a global enterprise environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Skills

• Security certifications such as Security+, SSCP, CCSP, CySA+, PenTest+, or Cloud+.
• Experience with AI-assisted prioritization, analytics, and cloud security across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
