Description

You will manage and secure Windows Server and Desktop environments while supporting end users.

Responsibilities

• Administer Windows operating systems, user accounts, file systems, and software services.
• Manage Active Directory, including GPO setup and domain backup and recovery.
• Execute disaster recovery planning, including system, application, and data restores.
• Monitor system health and performance to identify bottlenecks and lead optimization.
• Manage patch deployment, firmware installations, and RAID storage configurations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in IT support or systems administration.
• Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, KSH, or Perl for task automation.
• Hands-on experience with DHCP, DNS, Routing, and Firewall troubleshooting.
• Deep understanding of security principles, ACLs, and encryption.
• Experience with server hardware and various RAID storage configurations.
• Ability to provide direct end-user support and technical troubleshooting.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of security software such as Prowatch or Genetec.
