Description

Lead testing for a critical in-house healthcare system, ensuring requirements are testable and software meets business needs.

Responsibilities

• Assess requirement testability and develop test cases from Business Requirements and Software Design Documents.
• Execute functional, integration, and regression tests for web applications and EDI systems.
• Develop and execute test scripts for HIPAA X12 EDI transactions, including 837I, 837P, 839, and NCPDP D.0.
• Work with end users to facilitate thorough and complete user acceptance testing.
• Review, analyze, and report test results while managing defects through the lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in functional, integration, and regression testing.
• 5+ years of experience with Healthcare Claims Processing testing.
• 3+ years of experience testing web applications.
• 3+ years of experience using Test and Defect Management Tools.
• 2+ years of experience conducting QA and testing on EDI applications.
• 2+ years of experience developing and executing SQL queries.
• 2+ years of experience scripting automated Test Suites.
• 2+ years of experience working with business teams to write Business and QA documents.
• 2+ years of experience with Agile Methodology.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using HP ALM or JIRA for defect management.
