Description

You will own mainframe application development, maintenance, and DB2 performance optimization.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL and JCL.
• Optimize DB2 database performance through SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Analyze and resolve technical issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Document processes and maintain the internal knowledge base.
• Provide support and training to end-users.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Mainframe development.
• Strong proficiency with COBOL, JCL, and VSAM.
• Expertise in DB2 database management and SQL optimization.
• Knowledge of CICS for online transaction processing.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent documentation and team collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with PowerBuilder.
