Description

You will develop, maintain, and debug software within a Windows client/server environment, owning the full lifecycle from design to documentation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify software to meet technical specifications and data processing requests.
• Analyze user needs to design specifications that satisfy end-user requirements.
• Design, code, test, debug, document, and maintain programs following departmental standards.
• Research and define system scope and objectives for moderately complex information systems.
• Maintain familiarity with application components, including reports, claims management, and carrier/client interfaces.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency with Progress 4GL Application Development Environment (ADE).
• Experience with Progress PASOE.
• Strong debugging skills for hosted web services.
• Experience with Unix and Aix/Unix environments.
• Knowledge of PL/SQL, Oracle, .Net, or Microsoft SQL.
• Ability to provide IT Support in a client/server environment.
• Experience working with carrier/client and vendor/business partner interfaces.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Progress hosted web services.
