Description

Lead the design, development, and evaluation of complex software systems using mathematical analysis and computer science principles. You will own the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to final delivery.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve modifications to existing databases and database management systems.
• Direct database development efforts and approve project scope, limitations, and resource estimates.
• Plan and implement security measures to safeguard information against unauthorized access or damage.
• Supervise the installation and testing of new products and system improvements.
• Develop standards and guidelines for software acquisition and information protection.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Expert knowledge of the full software development lifecycle.
• Proficiency in SQL and Visual Basic.
• Experience with C and C++.
• Strong systems analysis and database management skills.
• Expert ability to troubleshoot complex issues and implement system changes.
• Proven ability to mentor staff and provide constructive performance feedback.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a relevant field.
