Description

Lead the design, development, and evaluation of complex software systems using mathematical analysis and computer science principles.

Responsibilities

• Own the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to final delivery.
• Review and approve modifications to existing databases and database management systems.
• Direct database development efforts and approve project scope, limitations, and resource estimates.
• Plan and implement security measures to safeguard information against unauthorized access.
• Supervise the installation and testing of new products and system improvements.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Expert knowledge of the full software development lifecycle.
• Proficiency in SQL and Visual Basic.
• Experience with C and C++.
• Strong systems analysis and database management skills.
• Expert ability to troubleshoot complex issues and implement system changes.
• Proven ability to mentor staff and provide constructive performance feedback.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a relevant field.
