Description

You will support and maintain critical Mainframe applications, including incident investigation, root cause analysis, and modernization efforts.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Investigate incidents and perform root cause analysis on Mainframe applications.
• Guide teams and contribute input for incident resolution and application changes.
• Assist in modernization projects, migrating Mainframe applications to modern solutions.
• Coordinate, test, and implement changes to computer databases.
• Support integrations with modern tools like Cognos, Power BI, and Java applications.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience working with Mainframe environments.
• Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2, IMS, and CICS.
• Experience with mainframe security (ACF2).
• Knowledge of scheduling tools, specifically OPC.
• Experience with file management utilities ($AVRS, sequential files).

Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating Mainframe systems with Java applications.
