Description

You will manage the PK IT Helpdesk and ensure minimal downtime for mission requirements at Andrews AFB.

Responsibilities

• Manage the PK IT Helpdesk by processing trouble tickets and responding to requests within 24 hours.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software malfunctions for laptops, mobile devices, tablets, printers, and Wi-Fi equipment.
• Install, configure, and maintain IT systems including switches, telephone systems, and fax machines.
• Coordinate with external helpdesks, such as the 844th and 744th Communications Squadrons, to resolve complex technical issues.
• Provide technical support via telephone and MS Teams, ensuring professional communication with all users.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing help desks supporting 150+ personnel.
• CompTIA A+ certification.
• CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Certified Customer Service Representative (e.g., HDI).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and Office 365.
• Experience managing SharePoint and Virtual Private Networks (VPN).
• Active Secret security clearance.
• Ability to work on-site at Andrews AFB, MD, Tuesday through Thursday.
