Description

You will install, configure, and maintain IT systems in stand-alone and client-server environments, ensuring network reliability and hardware functionality.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair hardware and software for network services, storage devices, and servers.
• Integrate multiple information systems within networked environments and resolve customer technical issues.
• Configure wireless hubs, routers, switches, and various transmission media.
• Optimize and troubleshoot Local Area and Base Area Networks.
• Perform hardware upgrades to maintain mission capability.

Required Skills

• 2-4 years of experience in IT systems administration or network support.
• Hands-on experience with IPv6, EIGRP, BGP, VLANs, VPNs, and NAT.
• Experience configuring and maintaining MS servers and Defense Message Systems.
• Proficiency in workstation hardware and software installation and configuration.
• Ability to manage server hardware and software in a networked environment.
• CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CCNA, MTA, MCTS, or MCSA certification.

Preferred Skills

• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification.
• CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications.
