Description

Provide technical support and hardware maintenance across networked, classified, unclassified, and standalone environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and administer desktop systems, portable computers, peripherals, and business application software.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software failures for desktops and portable computers.
• Manage the full lifecycle of trouble tickets, from opening and updating to timely closure.
• Coordinate the disassembly and reinstallation of IT equipment during office relocations.
• Conduct IT audits to ensure compliance with policies regarding desktop and portable computer products.

Required Skills

• Active Top Secret security clearance.
• Proficiency in installing and troubleshooting Windows operating systems.
• Experience installing and repairing desktop hardware, peripherals, and printers.
• Ability to work independently on complex technical assignments and projects.
• Experience providing customer service and technical instruction to users.
• Capability to lift up to 50lbs and perform physical tasks including crawling under desks, squatting, and bending.
• Ability to lead technical teams and other contractors on assigned projects.
• Experience using trouble-ticketing software.

Preferred Skills

• IT Certifications applicable to desktop and mobile computer support.
