Description

You will maintain uptime and provide operational support for plant-related Windows and Linux desktops, laptops, servers, and industrial hardware.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Maintain uptime for client desktops, handhelds, laptops, Process PCs, NetPCs, and servers including File, Print, Process, SQL, and WTS.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues across Windows OS environments and various desktop applications.
• Support printing hardware including Laserjet and Label printers (Zebra, Datamax).
• Manage network components including tethered switches, routers, firewalls, phone systems, and wireless access points.
• Resolve issues for RF devices such as Intermec, Motorola, Symbol, and LXE.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in IT support roles.
• Proficiency in Linux and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Help Desk Support and IT Hardware Support.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for Windows and Linux environments.
• Experience supporting MS Office applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to support various operating systems (NT, W2K, XP, Vista, Win7).
• Experience with RF devices and industrial printing hardware.

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft certifications.
• CompTIA certifications.
