Description

You will provide primary IT support to users across a global enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact for end-user support and maintenance within Windows and Linux environments.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and account-related issues using existing knowledge bases and diagnostic tools.
  • Deploy, install, and maintain PCs and software, including managing all adds, moves, and changes.
  • Document all service requests and technical resolutions within the call tracking system.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base entries to improve support workflows.

Required Skills

  • Experience with Windows Workstation and Windows Server administration.
  • Proficiency with MS Exchange and Linux systems.
  • Strong understanding of PC hardware, desktop operating systems, and network functionality.
  • Familiarity with common IP networking technologies and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ability to resolve issues involving workstation connectivity, MS Office, and malware.
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills with a focus on follow-through.
  • Ability to debug and improve infrastructure installation and configuration scripts in PowerShell and BASH.
  • Experience with Linux repository management, system patching, and CLI administration.

Preferred Skills

  • One to two years of experience in an IT-related field.
  • Experience administering accounts and policies in an Active Directory environment.
  • MCSE, LPI, or similar industry-level certifications.
