Description

You will act as the technical liaison between division staff and the Office of Information Technology to ensure all hardware and software support needs are met.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the front-line support for business users by investigating, evaluating, and resolving service requests or escalating them to OIT staff.
• Monitor service desk requests, negotiate completion dates, and ensure follow-through on technical issues.
• Manage hardware and software lifecycles, including inventory maintenance, equipment replacement schedules, and software renewal tracking.
• Coordinate equipment purchases, rollouts, and reimaging processes for new hires and position vacancies.
• Participate in the Business Technology Team to expand user functionality and assist in developing division-specific solutions.

Required Skills

• Professional experience in an occupational IT field.
• Experience managing hardware and software inventory and warranty information.
• Ability to monitor and manage service desk ticketing systems and service level agreements.
• Experience coordinating equipment rollouts and replacement schedules.
• Knowledge of hardware reimaging and surplus processes.
• Capability to serve as a technical liaison between business units and centralized IT departments.
• Experience working within a Business Technology Team structure.
