Description

You will provide technical support to on-site and remote colleagues while managing local infrastructure and systems in Ann Arbor, MI.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network configuration issues, logging all incidents in the tracking tool.
• Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools on desktops and laptops.
• Manage LAN and WAN connectivity services and perform basic troubleshooting for conference devices and meeting room hardware.
• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies to ensure high levels of system availability.
• Write and maintain custom scripts to automate tasks and increase operational efficiency.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in desktop support, field technician support, application support, or junior systems administration.
• Hands-on experience installing, configuring, and testing operating systems and application software.
• Experience with LAN and WAN connectivity services.
• Knowledge of security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
• Ability to manage asset inventory and document technical procedures.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects and trouble tickets simultaneously.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for interacting with internal customers.
