Description

You will provide technical support and hardware maintenance for users in Kimberley, managing the full lifecycle of ICT assets and resolving endpoint issues.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop hardware, software, and peripherals to ensure operational continuity.
• Manage the ICT inventory database by accurately capturing assets and dispatching equipment to users.
• Diagnose computer faults and coordinate repairs with external vendors or manufacturers.
• Support end-point security by assisting users with malware scanning and email security protocols.
• Create how-to documentation and videos to assist with user training and education.

Required Skills

• 2 to 3 years of experience in IT support and desktop support.
• Proficiency with Windows, Linux, and Windows Servers.
• Hands-on experience with hardware management for vendors such as HP and Dell.
• Knowledge of LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi configuration.
• Competency with MS Office suite and systems software.
• Ability to troubleshoot desktop computing equipment and interconnect diverse systems.
• Relevant ICT certifications or qualifications.
• Any Graduate degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Willingness to work outside of normal working hours.
