Manage and optimize virtualization, storage, and automated infrastructure systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage VMware vSphere or KVM virtualization environments and Hyper-Converged solutions like VxRail or vSAN.
• Configure and maintain SAN fabric on Cisco MDS switches, including zoning and masking.
• Implement backup solutions, manage retention policies, and execute disaster recovery plans and integrity tests.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and routine tasks using Ansible and AWX.
• Install, configure, and maintain rack-mounted server hardware and perform necessary upgrades.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in systems administration.
• Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere or Open-Source Hypervisors (KVM).
• Experience managing Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (VxRail, vSAN).
• Proficiency with SAN fabric management on Cisco MDS switches.
• Knowledge of designing and implementing NFS and SMB file services.
• Experience developing Ansible playbooks and roles via AWX.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis on virtualization and storage issues.
• Background in server hardware maintenance and rack-mounted deployments.
