Description

You will manage and secure on-premise network and server environments during a critical infrastructure consolidation project.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and configure new IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and systems.
• Consolidate VMware-based infrastructure and transition workloads into a Hyper-V ecosystem.
• Configure and administer Cisco switches, routers, and Fortigate firewalls.
• Monitor ingress and egress network traffic to maintain data and system security.
• Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for helpdesk escalations and hardware/software troubleshooting.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network and systems administration.
• Hands-on experience with VMware setup, management, and migration.
• Experience administering Hyper-V environments.
• Proficiency with Cisco IOS and Fortigate firewalls.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols and system architecture.
• Ability to use PowerShell or Bash for scripting and automation.
• Experience with network security tools and monitoring.
• U.S. Citizenship is required for contract compliance.
• 2-year degree in Computer Science, IT, Networking, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Cisco certifications (CCNA or CCNP).
• Microsoft certifications.
