Description

You will design, maintain, and secure on-premise network and server environments, leading the consolidation of Logos Networks and VMware infrastructure into Sparton’s Hyper-V ecosystem.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and configure new IT infrastructure environments including networks, servers, and systems.
• Migrate and consolidate VMware-based Logos infrastructure into the Hyper-V ecosystem.
• Align and synchronize network protocols and standards between Sparton and Logos systems.
• Manage and maintain company-wide computer networks, ensuring security and reliable performance.
• Provide Tier 2/3 support for helpdesk escalations and resolve critical system issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network and systems administration.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS, Fortigate Firewalls, and network routing/switching.
• Proficiency in VMware setup, management, and migration.
• Experience administering Hyper-V environments.
• Scripting and automation skills using PowerShell and Bash.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, system architecture, and IT operations best practices.
• U.S. Citizenship is required due to contract compliance.

Preferred Skills

• Certifications such as Cisco (CCNA/CCNP) or Microsoft.
• Experience with infrastructure documentation and implementation planning.
