IT Systems Analyst

You will perform analytical and technical work to support Managed Care Transformation enhancements and operations.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze complex healthcare data to design technical solutions meeting Federal and State Medicaid requirements.
• Design and develop interfaces across internal and external Medicaid systems.
• Create and deliver reports and metrics using SAS Business Intelligence tools and the NC Analytics Data warehouse.
• Validate input files and formats against data mapping artifacts and perform data quality assurance.
• Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in project management.
• 5+ years of experience developing SQL queries.
• 5+ years of experience with DB2.
• Strong understanding of healthcare claims processing, including Claims, Provider, Eligibility, and Members.
• Proficiency with Oracle and MS SQL Server databases.
• Hands-on experience with file transfer methodologies and file types including CSV, TXT, and XML.
• Proven experience delivering Business Intelligence solutions.
• Experience managing and working with multiple vendors.
• Working knowledge of Agile methodology.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of Medicaid and/or MMIS.
• SAS programming knowledge (Base SAS 9.4, SAS Macro, SAS BI Suite, Data Integration studio, Enterprise Guide).
