Description

You will manage and monitor installed systems and infrastructure to ensure high availability.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
• Monitor application performance to identify bottlenecks and work with developers to implement fixes.
• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
• Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support and liaise with vendors for problem resolution.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in IT systems engineering.
• Proven experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting UNIX/Linux environments.
• Experience with Linux and Unix administration.
• Solid experience in administration and performance tuning of application stacks.
• Cloud experience, preferably in Azure.
• Relevant degree or certification in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
