Install and maintain hardware and software infrastructure for laboratory environments, ensuring seamless integration with specialized instruments.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure servers, workstations, and printers while managing lab-specific software like LIMS.
• Ensure compatibility between IT infrastructure, lab equipment, and data collection systems.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues between instruments and computer systems to guarantee smooth data transfer.
• Implement security protocols including firewalls, antivirus solutions, and encryption for lab data.
• Manage network setup for reliable wired and wireless access and enforce user access controls.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of progressive IT experience.
• Experience with LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems).
• Hardware installation and maintenance for servers and workstations.
• Network setup and management (wired and wireless).
• Implementation of security protocols (firewalls, encryption, antivirus).
• Integration of scientific instruments with IT infrastructure.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
