IT Technical Architect

You will architect systems for Manufacturing, Engineering, and MES environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead site evaluations to determine hosting requirements between private cloud (AMS) or on-site.
• Manage infrastructure teams to execute builds, ensuring all hosting and network specifications are met.
• Direct performance testing teams and coordinate with DXC, Network, Hosting, and App Dev teams for execution.
• Drive system optimization and tuning in collaboration with network and application development teams.
• Correlate engineering and manufacturing simulation tools with actual manufacturing processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in technical architecture or similar roles.
• Deep understanding of shop floor systems, including SCADA and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
• Experience with recipe management, lot tracking, and prior step verification.
• Proficiency in automated testing.
• Background in manufacturing engineering or operations to bridge shop floor and software requirements.
• Experience using engineering and manufacturing simulation tools.
• Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with web, middleware, and database administration for troubleshooting and optimization.
