You will bridge the gap between complex technology project management and user comprehension through documentation and instruction.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create technical documentation including job aids, templates, forms, flow diagrams, and presentation decks.
• Develop and deliver training programs both in real-time and via on-demand recordings.
• Simplify complex technical issues for diverse audiences through succinct written and verbal communication.
• Provide guidance and planning support within rapidly changing project environments.

Required Skills

• 10 years of IT experience with an emphasis on technology project management.
• 2 years of experience creating procedure documentation, templates, and flow diagrams.
• 2 years of experience designing and delivering training programs.
• PMP Certification through PMI.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Visio.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Project.
• Experience creating on-demand training recordings.
• Strong knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with VITA's Commonwealth Technology Portfolio (CTP) system and process.
