Description

You will manage IT system contracts to align with business outcomes, vendor performance expectations, and CMS outcome-based certification requirements.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop procurement documentation including RFIs, IFBs, RFPs, and RFQs.
• Negotiate complex IT contracts and amendments while resolving interpretive differences between vendors and business units.
• Evaluate bids and coordinate source selection activities for competitive solicitations.
• Perform risk analysis and total cost of ownership evaluations for IT commodities, services, and equipment.
• Lead strategic sourcing methodology for high-value, complex requisitions in collaboration with State Procurement.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in IT vendor management or procurement.
• Experience with Medicaid Enterprise System (MES) environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
• Strong negotiation and strategic sourcing capabilities.
• Ability to perform detailed risk analysis and cost of ownership modeling.
• Experience managing vendor performance and compliance frameworks.
• Knowledge of IT procurement best practices and regulations.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to monitor integration efforts and ensure compliance with Federal and State policies.
