Description

Lead technology strategy and manage a team of six developers, engineers, and analysts in a hands-on capacity.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the COO to define and execute the technology roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Manage a team responsible for IT infrastructure, application development, and third-party integrations.
• Own the data warehouse, overseeing data management, optimization, and sourcing infrastructure.
• Oversee firm-wide IT support, hardware, and software applications including trading, accounting, and research tools.
• Maintain cybersecurity programs and risk management protocols to meet regulatory standards.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of technology leadership experience, preferably within hedge funds or financial services.
• Proficiency in Python and Git.
• Strong experience with MS SQL database architecture and design.
• Hands-on experience managing cloud infrastructure via Azure.
• Deep knowledge of trading systems, data warehouses, and market data.
• Experience managing front, middle, and back-office systems.
• Technical expertise in IT infrastructure including VPN, Firewalls, and DR/BCP.
• Familiarity with PMS, RMS, and CRM platforms.
• Ability to perform code reviews and read code.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Bloomberg and other market data providers.
• Background in smaller hedge fund or small tech organization environments.
