Description

You will deliver ServiceNow Service Mapping solutions and manage the Discovery module to enhance auto-discovered configuration data. You translate business service architecture into technical specifications and implement Service Maps.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Configure ServiceNow Discovery and MID Servers to capture accurate configuration information.
• Develop custom discovery patterns and scripts for in-house applications.
• Lead customer workshops on Service Mapping, Discovery, and CMDB lifecycle.
• Maintain module integrity across production and non-production environments.
• Troubleshoot complex workflow issues and read logs to resolve performance problems.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of total experience in IT service management.
• 5+ years implementing Service Mapping solutions for multiple customers.
• 3+ years implementing discovery solutions for multiple customers.
• 2+ years experience with CSDM-led CMDB implementation on ServiceNow.
• Proficiency in scripting and coding Discovery Patterns, CMDB Types, and Scripting.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow Discovery/Service Mapping offerings and CMDB Classes.
• Ability to articulate Asset and Configuration relationships and dependencies.

Preferred Skills

• Service Mapping, Discovery, and other ITOM certifications.
• ITIL Foundation Level Certification.
