Description

Own the operational health and compliance of infrastructure fleets, ensuring accurate inventory and lifecycle governance. Troubleshoot complex hardware, software, and networking issues, driving root cause resolution. Build automation for device discovery, compliance scanning, firmware tracking, and health monitoring. Create and improve SOPs and runbooks to ensure consistent operations across sites. Identify performance patterns and deliver scalable automation solutions. Provide architectural insights on component interactions and participate in on-call rotations. Mentor junior engineers on systems architecture and operational practices.

Responsibilities

• Own fleet governance, maintaining accurate inventory and tracking lifecycle status across regions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve difficult systems problems across hardware, software, and operating environments.
• Build automation for device discovery, compliance scanning, firmware tracking, and health monitoring.
• Create and improve SOPs, runbooks, and documentation for consistent, repeatable operations.
• Drive operational excellence initiatives to improve fleet health, compliance, and efficiency.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, Infrastructure Management, or Fleet Management.
• Strong proficiency in AWS services including EC2, Lambda, Systems Manager, CloudWatch, DynamoDB, and S3.
• Expertise in scripting with Python and PowerShell for automation and operational tasks.
• Hands-on experience with Linux Administration and Windows Administration.
• Solid understanding of Networking concepts and Cloud Platforms.
• Experience with Fleet Manager, hardware troubleshooting, and firmware management.
• Knowledge of Bash scripting, compliance scanning, and device health monitoring.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with operational excellence practices and lifecycle reporting.
• Understanding of cross-domain system integration and operational design.
