Description

Design, implement, and support integration solutions and transformation programs using IBM WebSphere Transformation eXtender (WTX) within WebSphere Message Broker environments.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex business requirements to design and develop technical integration solutions.
• Manage technical components of large integration projects, including Map Designer, Type Designer, and Database Interface Designer.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues within WTX components.
• Coordinate with the team to prioritize tasks and meet project deliverables within established timelines.

Required Skills

• 5 years of experience in ITX, WTX, or Sterling development.
• Proficiency with WTX (V8.2 or higher).
• Expertise in Map Designer, Type Designer, and Database Interface Designer.
• Strong SQL skills and a solid understanding of databases.
• Experience with XML technologies, specifically XSD and DTD.
• Hands-on experience implementing EDI transformations using ANSI X12 and EDIFACT standards.
• Deep understanding of Component Rules and validation techniques in Type Designer.
• Proven analytical and problem-resolution skills.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Java or IBM Integration Bus (IIB).
