Description

You will design, build, and maintain IVR applications and backend services using Java and Spring Boot, integrating with Genesys telephony platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable microservices and APIs using Spring Boot, REST, and SOAP.
• Implement and maintain VoiceXML call flows and IVR logic on Genesys platforms.
• Manage legacy Struts applications and migrate them to modern Spring Boot microservices.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures in Oracle and PostgreSQL.
• Handle JSON/XML data parsing and integrate with speech recognition (ASR) and text-to-speech (TTS) engines.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of professional experience in Java/J2EE backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Spring MVC and Spring Boot for microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with VoiceXML (JSV) and IVR/Telephony concepts, specifically Genesys.
• Expertise in building and consuming REST and SOAP web services.
• Strong SQL skills with Oracle and PostgreSQL, including indexing and query optimization.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Git, Maven, and Jenkins.
• Understanding of Struts framework for maintaining existing legacy systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience migrating monolithic Struts apps to Spring Boot microservices.
• Familiarity with AI-driven conversational IVR solutions.
• Knowledge of Docker and cloud deployment on GCP.
