Description

Perform independent verification and validation to ensure software and hardware integrity through rigorous testing and defect management.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute integration, verification, and validation test methodologies for software and hardware systems.
• Develop and execute functional, non-functional, and automation test cases based on requirement documentation.
• Troubleshoot software and hardware issues, including race conditions, synchronization problems, and intermittent failures.
• Analyze system weaknesses such as border values and hardware/software interactions.
• Manage and track defects using industry-standard tools.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in testing and validation, preferably in the aerospace industry.
• Expertise in Test Management and IV&V methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with Unix, Linux, and Android systems.
• Proficiency in Shell Scripting for test automation and system interaction.
• Hands-on experience with Bluetooth testing and Ethernet networks.
• Proficiency in defect management tools like JIRA and ClearQuest.
• Working knowledge of Agile environments and tools like VersionOne.
• Ability to interpret complex requirement documentation.

Preferred Skills

• Background in the aerospace industry.
