Description

Lead independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) and Quality Assurance for complex healthcare IT systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent IT audits and publish reports to the Office of the CIO.
• Lead the IV&V attestation process in compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Review installation and security-related controls for computing platforms, including operating systems, databases, and software products.
• Liaise between technical teams, business stakeholders, and external entities to coordinate and validate audit findings.
• Develop and maintain IT audit methodologies, project performance metrics, and best practices.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in the IT field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT auditing with proficiency in IT security and control practices.
• 5+ years of experience leading IV&V and QA/QC functions for State or Federal government agency projects.
• 5+ years of experience maintaining project artifacts for healthcare or health and human services IT systems.
• Hands-on experience with Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) techniques.
• Proficiency in Agile software development methodologies.
• Experience with Project Management Office (PMO) processes, policies, and methodologies.
• Ability to translate agency attestations and business needs into actionable activities.
• Competency in data analysis, project management, and database management software.
