JAMS Automation Engineer

You will build, administer, and maintain JAMS Enterprise Scheduler and System Center Orchestrator environments for automation workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and validate PowerShell scripts, maintaining them in source control for change management.
• Build and maintain a dynamic inventory of all JAMS Scheduler jobs and monitor their daily health.
• Create and manage Azure SQL Elastic Jobs for automated database tasks and monitor database performance.
• Log Service Desk incidents for job failures, resolve issues, and maintain the incident resolution knowledge base.
• Liaise with application teams to evaluate automation needs and integrate infrastructure systems via REST APIs.

Required Skills

• PowerShell scripting on Microsoft Server 2012-2019.
• Microsoft SQL Server 2012-2025 and Azure SQL Databases.
• Microsoft Azure services including Logic Apps, JSON scripting, and REST APIs.
• Experience with JAMS Enterprise Manager.
• PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB, and MongoDB.
• 7+ years of experience in automation engineering.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• System Center Orchestrator 2012 or later.
• Azure SQL Elastic Job Agent.
• Azure or AWS Certification.
