Description

You will own reporting, output management, and technical design implementation within an Agile environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Document technical designs and specifications following project standards and business requirements.
• Develop business applications and reporting code according to project schedules.
• Build and reuse component-based modules and Thunderhead templates.
• Collaborate with frontend and backend developers across the full software development lifecycle.
• Perform testing, troubleshooting, and manual or automated deployments using Maven and Jenkins.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in Reporting or Output Management.
• Proficiency with Jasper and Crystal Reports.
• Experience with Thunderhead template functionality.
• Working knowledge of data interchange formats including JSON and XML.
• Experience with SVN version control.
• Experience using Maven build scripts and Jenkins for SIT to Production deployments.
• Practical experience with Agile/SCRUM methodologies.
• Strong foundations in object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithm design.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent field.

Preferred Skills

• Backend experience with Java.
• Database knowledge including DB2, Oracle, and SQL/PLSQL programming.
• Experience working within the insurance industry.
