Description

You will build backend microservices and data pipelines in an AWS environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and manage data pipelines using EMR, PySpark, Glue, and Redshift.
• Implement serverless architectures using AWS Lambda and Step Functions.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications via ECS with Fargate.
• Design and optimize database schemas across Oracle, PostgreSQL, and Aurora.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in software or data engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python and Java for microservices development.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including EMR, Glue, and Redshift.
• Experience with serverless technologies like Lambda and Step Functions.
• Practical knowledge of containerization using ECS and Fargate.
• Experience with web application development and UI frameworks including JSP and Angular.
• Direct experience managing Oracle, PostgreSQL, and Aurora databases.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of SAS.
• DevOps experience with Jenkins, Bitbucket, Terraform, UCD, or CloudFormation.
